Slide 1
Slide notes: While it is standard to run the
IES Cloud Service on the same Server as the IES Service, it is also in
order to have the IES Cloud Service on another or multiple other Servers. It
is important to arrange for any IES Cloud Service that is not on the same
Server as the IES Service, to ensure that the implied User from the IES
Cloud Service as connecting to the IES Server, has full access to the
shared resources like BRIDGE and BRIDGERO. The IES Cloud Service
effectively becomes a "client" of the IES Server, and may connect
with a secure domain logon User, but in some cases it may be necessary to
turn down the UAC at the IES Server to achieve the required access.
