Slide notes: To install the IES Cloud service, we just use the installer object that we have downloaded from the IES website. If this is an upgrade, it is recommended to perform an uninstall first on the current installation.

Slide notes: Where do we install the IES Cloud service? Usually, we do it on the same server where the IES Service is running, but optionally it can also be on another machine that will then access the IES Service at a different IP address.

Slide notes: The IP Address is the IP address for the IES Server and not the IES Cloud Server. In other words, this is the address where iesCloud will find IES_Server. In a standard installation, it will be the same server and therefore 127.0.0.1 which means 'local machine' will be correct.

Slide notes: The server port will almost always be 4242, so can be accepted.

Slide notes: The logon user code defaults to 'infolabc' but for a high secure installation we may certainly use a domain name with a secret password. For example, the user code could be 'any_user@any_domain_name', as long as this User is registered as such on the domain where the IES Server resides, and as long as this User is also registered as an Administrator in QMSYS at IES.

Slide notes: The default password is appropriate for 'infolabc' but if another user code is used, then we have to change the password as well.

Slide notes: The standard port for web services is 80, and can be accepted. However, in the event that we wish to run the service on another port, we may do so, and in that case, please see the tutorial on that subject. Please ensure that whichever port is used, is enabled through the firewall to allow access.
